Art that Inspires and Connects

Step Into the Sukkah of Art

Every year, Chabad Center for Jewish Life brings the joy of Sukkot to downtown Chicago by building a community Sukkah at Daley Plaza. This year, we're elevating the experience with Framing Our Heritage — transforming the Sukkah into a vibrant art installation showcasing Jewish artists and storytellers. Walk inside and be surrounded by powerful canvases and stories that bring Jewish culture and traditions to life in the heart of Chicago.

Why Donate

Bring Jewish Stories to Life One Brushstroke at a Time

Your donation sustains more than a project — it nurtures a living culture. When you give, you:

  • Empower Jewish Artists to share their truth and talent

  • Support Community Programs that build connection and pride

  • Create Public Jewish Presence in places like Daley Plaza

  • Pass On Tradition in a way that’s visual, vibrant, and accessible to all

Art changes how people see Jewish life. You can be part of that transformation.

Behind the Scenes
Center for Jewish Life

Rabbi and Mrs. Meir Chai and Rivka Benhiyoun, emissaries of the Lubavitcher Rebbe to downtown Chicago since 1987.
Chabad of the Loop, Gold Coast and Lincoln Park is a nonprofit outreach organization committed to reawakening Jewish life within a person. CJL has locations in the Loop, Gold Coast, Lincoln Park and South Loop.
Our work is geared to building healthier communities in an inclusive organization without regard to a person's background, affiliation or level of observance.

Philosophy
All Jews are "members." There are no membership fees, tickets, board members, etc. Our philosophy rejects the insular, segregated self-perception of organizations and communities. We strongly believe in an interactive community while maintaining each individual's uniqueness. All are welcome.

One people. One family.
