Alex Woz

Alex Woz is a 27 year old Argentinian Jewish artist and designer that is currently based in Los Angeles, California. Inspired by the classical designs that emerged from 60's Israel as well as the art and design movements that birthed from 70's album art, Alex works with photos of global Jewish communities to create designs that seek to bring the inner workings of the Jewish soul to the blank page. Inspired by maximalist philosophy, Alex uses a wide range of creative elements in his art, combining digital and traditional multimedia elements such as embroidery, pastels, oil paint, gold india ink, collage, and more. He is the recipient of several awards in the realm of Jewish art, has received critical acclaim by the estates of legendary Israeli designer Dan Reisinger and Italian artist/activist Herbert Pagani, and has worked with the likes of PBS, Tel Aviv Institute, the LA Kings, Tablet, Ofra Haza's estate, and more. He has exhibited in the Jerusalem Museum of Art in 2024, and is currently exhibiting his works in Houston and Budapest.
