Carol H. Sherman

Carol Sherman’s vibrant paintings of Torah stories and Kabbalistic themes reflect post-impressionist styles. She began her professional life with a decade of experience teaching art in public and Jewish day schools. Her early years in education laid the foundation for her love of creative expression and her commitment to nurturing others.

Transitioning to the corporate sector, Carol specialized in leadership development and change management, working throughout the United States and Canada. After retiring from corporate business, she continued to share her expertise through nonprofit consulting and life transition coaching with Connecting Point Consulting.

Since retiring in 2015, Carol has devoted herself to painting, teaching, and the study of Kabbalah. Her acrylic works are known for their interpretive stories that invite viewers to consider new perspectives about themselves and others.

In December 2019, Carol published Jewish Holidays: Revealed through Art and Poetry, a book that blends paintings, poetry, and a study guide to provide readers with a creative introduction to Jewish holidays. Carol’s life and art have been deeply influenced by her decade-long study of Kabbalah. This mystical aspect of Judaism has transformed her understanding of the Divine and is reflected in her artistic expressions. Carol’s most recent project, Kabbalah for Youth, serves as a curriculum supplement for students ages 8 to 12. It introduces a more personal, loving, and balanced view of G-d through the lens of Torah teachings, engaging students with interactive and artistic activities.
